WAME at ESEB 2025
We are excited to announce a support scheme for ECRs wishing to attend ESEB 2025.
More information
What is this for?
To support attendance and presentation of a talk or poster at ESEB 2025 within the WAME-sponsored symposium “Contribution of the microbiome to host adaptation and plasticity”.
What costs can be funded?
Travel, accommodation or registration fees can all be covered. Costs need to be reclaimed after symposium attendance - receipts are required.
We should strive to keep environmental impact as low as possible (and this is ESEB policy). As part of this, airfares are only eligible expenses if the distance travelled is more than 500 km or the travel time with alternative transport options is more than 6 hours.
Important dates.
2nd April: Applications open
12th May: Application deadline closes
24th May: Application outcomes announced
31st Sept: Costs must be claimed
Note: Abstract acceptances for symposia are announced on 20th May, just before the application outcomes for this funding scheme are announced. ESEB early-bird registration then closes on 1st June.
How to apply?
